Classes.

Second day of classes already. I've been bringing my camera to everywhere I go, trying my best to get some pictures of classes and buildings and such. Classes so far are alright. Tomorrow, Wednesday, in fact, every Wednesdays is my busiest day of the week. I have five classes straight. I think I only have like one hour to rest before my fourth class. Wow. It's gonna be challenging, but with His strength, anything is possible. Amen? Amen =).

I found some jobs online that I think would be easy and flexible for me. The pay is kinda low but, it's easy job. I'm just waiting for references from Malaysia so that I can include with my job application. Mad right? Need to get references from all the way back in Malaysia. Madness! Haha! Well, hope I get a decent job.

Alright, nothing much so far. Been really close with Japanese and Korean people though. Very pretty girls........ >.< My bad xD.

Got to go. Wanna study.

Beach!

Argh! I know, I'm a bad boy... I didn't go to church this morning because I woke up too late. But I'll be going next week with my friends. So yeah, next week. Sigh.

There was no plans at all for this morning so I went down for brunch at the Kehau Dining Hall, had my brunch, then met Puna, he's a Hawaiian from Oahu (that's the island where Honolulu is in). Spoke to him and stuff like that. He asked me whether I had plans or not, I said no and then he invited me out to the beach with him and some other friends. They are, Corey (sp?), Tangerine, Tony and Mickey (sp?). Tony drove all of us to the beach. It was kinda like 20-30 minutes drive.

When people in the US (or only Hawaii) says, get into the back trunk (car booth), they mean it. Haha! Yeah, I sat at the trunk (sp?) of the car today xD. Don't worry, it was a very spacious trunk.

The beach we went to is also a black sand beach. Almost all the beaches here are black sand beaches. There's only one white sand beach, and I even heard that there's a GREEN sand beach. Must visit both of them during the term break this December. Haha!

Went to search for my classrooms just now in the evening after dinner with Jo and Thomas. After finding the classrooms, we went to play ping pong at my hall lounge. It was fantastic. Hunter and Kee (sp?) joined us (all of them are Koreans) and they were all good, except Jo xD. He just started playing ping pong so yeah, it's okay, he'll get the hang of it. There were like these two Marshal Islanders, wow, they are good! One was playing smart, the other was smashing the ball like nobody's business!

Long day, tired, gonna get ready for classes and then to sleep. My roommate just invited me to go for a run. Tempting, but nuh uh... Classes tomorrow. xD. Excited and nervous!



I sat at the back trunk. I took these two pictures only then I realised that, the memory card wasn't in my camera - left it in my room in the card reader in my laptop. GRRRR.

First Movie Outing?

I met loads of people today during the paddling session. Mostly Japanese and Koreans. Then met more during dinner time. I met these girls, Amber, Jen and Julie during dinner last night. I asked for their phone number (I've a cell, I might as well use it wisely xD) and we change numbers and stuff. Guess what? I got a call later on yesterday evening to go to their place for a movie. Wow. Haha! First movie outing. Amber called me and I invite Jo to come along. It was fun just hanging out and watching movie. We watched Head Over Heels. Chic flick but, it's alright.

Their apartment sucks cockis awesome man! Shiattt... It's so freaking nice. I didn't know that you could have requested for which hall you want to be put in and stuff. Grr. But hey, for now, this room is alright. Drew's a nice roommate. Sometimes his attitude gets on my nerves, but hey, seriously, he's a blessing. I know he is. God bless him and I pray for tolerance to be upon me.

It was a boring Saturday night at first. I even went on a walk with Taka (Japanese friend), Thomas (Korean friend) and Jo (Korean, you guys should probably know) on the path to no-where-ness xD. But the movie thing was just so awesome.

I'm gonna go get Wan Chian's number... I'll fight for it if I have to xD! HAHAHA!

The Bay

Muahahaha! I finally went to beach this morning. I only got like 5 hours of sleep but hey, I enjoyed today xD. We had this activity in orientation, Pedaling by The Bay. The beach isn't that attractive but it's alright. This island is geographically young (yes young), so the sand is kinda like dark-ish kinda colour. But I heard that there are awesome beaches around here like Richardson beach, which is kinda far... But I'm gonna visit that beach soon. Muahaha! Then I'll be going to the ONLY white sand beach on this island.. that's like west of this island... So yeah, gonna do some travelling.

I'm out of cash. Seriously.. I would have NOT given ALL my money to the bank if I knew that it would take me like 2 weeks to get my account set up. Dammit! I'm left with like U$D15 with few cents. GAWD!! Looks like I'm gonna have to loan some money from my friends. Sigh... I feel bad... Well, spend less.... I wouldn't mind waiting two weeks for the account to be set up but I need to get a Math book that I can't use my credit card to pay for it. Argh... In trouble. Looonnnggg Daaayyyy

Alright! I finally got a phone and a phone number! It's a prepaid phone. The reason I picked T-Mobile prepaid is because, it's cheap (U#S31.few cents >.<) and my friends are using it. Free calls to them. And I only pay like U$D1 a day if I use the phone. If not, no charge. Woot. AHha! Want my number? Ask me through IM or Email me for it. Not going to use much so yeah, I'll be reloading like U$D10 each month only. That's like, 30 minutes of calling time! Enough for me. Texting sucks here. We not only pay for sending messages, but receiving them counts too. DAM ASS AMERICANS... ooopss xD. But yeah, I'll be calling a lot. Thank God.

Went to play soccer with Stephan, Nigen and Rob yesterday evening. Then after that, Amanda and Kate cooked us dinner. It was just so yummy. I would've taken a picture of Walmart and my dinner but MY CAMERA AIN'T READING THE CARD! That's so frustrated. Jacob joined us for dinner too. He's a fun guy.

Overall, it was a very fun and tiring day. There was one part that wasn't real fun or happy. Nigen and Stephan were having a discussion about God and stuff. Sad hearing how the world thinks and have this perspective of God. Gonna look up some verses and talk to them about what they just discussed.

Got to go now. Very late. I have a program like in 6 hours time. So yeah, gonna catch like 4-5 hours of sleep. Hahah!
