Of Cold, Slight Fever, and Tears.

Argh! I gots the colds agains. Grrr. Body temperature increasing as well. Gosh, need to study! Will sleep earlier tonight, I hope xD.

Went out last night with Nick Knock (*giggles*) and Trebor. We went to watch Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist. All I can say about that show is that, it's so frigging fake. Either that or girls just don't like me. How can you get a girlfriend in a few hours time? That doesn't make any sense *paranoid* Anyways, the movie was alright. Better than Twilight (yes, hate me more, girls). It's kinda like a chic flick comedy movie. I enjoyed the storyline, but I don't agree with it *paranoid again*

My future band's name will be the Jerk Offs. Or, Jack in a Box...

Speaking about Jack in a Box... Gosh, I enjoyed that greasy and fattening and unhealthy burger last night! What? I hear you people talking about Carl's Jr.? Nothing close man! Carl's Jr. is a small little footnote on Jack in a Box's epic ass... Yeap... Jack in a Box is officially my favourite fast food place... Till I get too fat (fatter than now I mean xD) and have no money for food though :P.

I really need to start writing my papers! I think I'll finish my term paper by tonight (for psychology) and then my research paper by tomorrow night (Marine Bio). I asked my lecturer to post up examples of research paper online but she didnt (I sent three e-mails, reminded her three times face-to-face)... Argh, just gonna do it, submit my draft copy, and then do some corrections. Then I'm gonna study, everyday till finals are done... After that, OAHU BABY!!!! Wooots! Olivia the Band, here I come... I'm gonna jump up the stage, hump #-moto's leg, and lick his guitar WOOOOHOOOO!!!!! Mosh pit babeh!

Oh yeah, after Jack in a Box, we went to Kaumana Caves (dam, Kaumana Drive street, Kaumana Drive Baptist Church, now Kaumana Caves... what's next? Kaumana Twin Towers?!). It was awesome. It was my first time caving... Didn't quite enjoy it to the fullest... Not because it was at night or anything. But because I was wearing flip-flops and a long sleeve sweater thingy... Gosh, my flip-flops are terrible damages now. Speaking about damage, I ripped my one and only favourite pink pants (yes, I do have a pink three-quarter pants)... Well, Nick Knock (giggles) says he'll stitch it for me... Or did he say his mum can stitch it for me? Hmmmm... His mum sounds better...

Woots! Playing guitar tomorrow for church! Muahahahah! I hope they don't use cappo, cause I'll be screwed if they did...

*cries*

stupid p(imp)L[ank] teach me how to be emo...

500th Post!

Nothing special for you people but it's special to me. I had blogs before this and never achieved this milestone before, so it's a darn big thing. If I'm still posting in my Metal For God blog, I would have a total of about 800+ posts. I posted in other blogs too, so I think I've posted at least 1000 blog posts before. Woots! Nothing big for you guys, but big deal for me.

So what should I do for my 500th post? Should I finally finish my second video log? Should I post pictures? Should I sing a song? Should I start confessing about how I feel about that special someone? Nuh-uh! None of those! *I don't have a special someone, girls hate me*

What I'm going to do is, to write a list of "things" (characteristics, attitude and etc.) I'm looking for in a girl. What made me wanna do this? I was reading Ashleigh's Myspace blog last night and it reminded me of the old list sitting somewhere in my room in Malaysia. So, here it is:

  1. Looks are secondary in a relationship, but that's the first thing you see in a person. So, the girl I want, must be good looking, at least better looking than I am.
  2. Must be super uber caring but knows how to draw the line when pampering me. I like attention, everybody does.
  3. Must be able to be patient with me for I am a playful person, I'm immature.
  4. Must be able to tell when I'm serious and when I'm playful.
  5. Must like me pampering her.
  6. Must think rational most of the time when making decisions.
  7. Must understand how I feel, or at least try to understand.
  8. Must be able to let me speak my mind, and listen to me.
  9. Must let me make a stand if she thinks I'm wrong.
  10. Must be my bolster.
  11. Should know how to cook a little bit.
  12. Must know how to dress up properly.
  13. Must keep her dignity and her family's name.
  14. Must honour her parents and build a relationship with mine.
  15. Must have nice hair.
  16. Must be able to control me.
  17. Must be my motivator and encourager.
  18. Must not be shy to talk to me about anything.
  19. Must trust me for I will trust her.
  20. Must like music. Playing instruments is optional.
  21. Don't mind bad English.
  22. Must be smarter than me.
  23. Must take control when I'm weak.
  24. Should not be humble for I am humble to her.
  25. Must not control me all the time.
  26. Should not be jealous or envy all the time when I'm not with her. It's okay to feel that way. Because I'll be jealous if she's out with her friends rather than being with me.
  27. Must scold me and help me break my bad habits.
  28. Must like short and ugly Indian guy (me).... Means, must love me for who I am but be honest about everything she dislikes about me.
  29. Must like children.
  30. Must work with me to make this relationship a success till we get married, and till the day we both die, for I am not looking for a short span relationship, I want marriage!
  31. Referring to the above requirement, she must love kids and be ready to give birth and take care of at least two kids. I want four but she has a choice too, and I will respect it.
  32. Must like my last name =P. Pronounce it right if she can.
I'll update those when I need to. But the below requirements will never, ever change:

  • MUST be God-fearing.
  • MUST be saved in Jesus' name. If not, how is she going to motivate and encourage me?
  • MUST put God first in our relationship.
  • MUST agree to build a relationship not only physically, but spiritually; building our relationship with God together.
  • MUST remind me of His Word for I will also remind her of His Word.
  • MUST pray together most of time.
I'm sure there'll be more in the future. For now, I need to focus on my studies. A relationship can wait. I don't have the time and the money for a girlfriend now. Money is not important in a relationship you say. It IS! I wanna be able to pamper my girlfriend with gifts because I choose to do so. Simple gifts.

But the main problem is, WILL I EVER GET A GIRLFRIEND?

*laughs*

Congratulations!

Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Toby Lim... Your baby boy looks cute... God bless him and both of you. Make sure you take care of the baby and feed him. Make sure he has chubby cheeks when I get back, so I can pinch his cheeks...

God bless =).

PS: He looks like a Man United fan to me.

Thanksgiving Dinner

What should I compare a Thanksgiving dinner to? I know! Deepavali meals! haha! They're super delicious and super filling and the crowd is awesome. Only differences are, I don't get a Deepavali packet (xD), I don't get a nice Indian meal and the people aren't Indians xD Haha! Dam I'm mean...

Anyways, I went to Yu Yok's house for Thanksgiving yesterday. She's the person who helped me get into this university. Before the gathering (it starts at 4PM in her house), I went to Wan Chian's place to bake some cookies. It was supposed to be like how Shannon Knock baked the cookies for lunch after the Young Adult Service a few Sundays back (I think it's Shannon 0.o), and it tasted so good! It's kinda like the cookie dough baked into a cake-like dish... We tried doing that but it didn't work 0.0 But we had to bring the bad cookies along anyways. Sigh... Sorry Wan Chian!

The gathering was nice. The crowd was elder than me, and elder than Wan Chian too. But it's nice meeting new people... And oh, there were kids. Cute little small people, especially the baby girl... Gosh, I abused her cheeks >.< The food was awesome... Pictures with Wan Chian.

Nick Knock thinks I'm not cool enough to hang out with him... Meanie.

And oh...

Happy Thanksgiving people. Go kiss your loved ones.

Silence.

During the Eleventh Hour prayer meeting the other night, we heard only the crickets chirping. Usually it's the Coqui frogs who makes loads of noise at night. They make the annoying "co-qui" sound, bad singing, worse than me. But tonight, there are neither. No crickets and Coqui frogs, nobody walking around, nobody playing the ukulele, nobody screaming and shouting, just silence. Not used to this but, it's so peaceful =).

My eyes are closing. Argh! Need to study Chemistry! I'm not sure whether I wanna follow the BCM to the other side of the island this Saturday or not. If I can't get my papers done, then I think I'll be calling John the Baptist Collegiate Ministry to ask him to cancel my name. Argh!

I'm lonely =(.

BCM Thanksgiving Dinner

Wooots! It was awesome... Amazing... Looks like the emu fire (not sure of the right spelling) worked well. The turkey tasted awesome! Two things missing though: Where's the kickass gravy and the awesome stuffing?! Rip offIt's alright... What matters is that we had a good time fellowship-ing with each other, getting to know each other more... Like I found out that Steven and Joel were such fun guys to be with, I found out that Paul eats very little, I found out that Erinn loves desserts so much, I found out that pies must always go with coolwhip(sp?), I found out that Nick isn't following his diet plan properly, I found out that we (John the Baptist Collegiate Ministry, Trebor, Joel and I) make a good Guitar Hero band... Good job to everyone that made this event a success... It's not about bringing souls to God using food, but more to showing His love. Kudos! Glory to Him!

No pictures though 0.0 Forgot my camera. My blog needs pictures.... *screams*Erinn! I need the D-ball pictures!*screams*

After that, Erinn and I went to Blockbuster to rent a movie. Pan's Labyrinth. Please, do not watch that movie. It's super disgusting with all the killings and stuff, and the main story isn't about the labyrinth at all 0.0 Well, I had a good time =).

Happy early Thanksgiving, people! Words can't explain how thankful I am for having an awesome family back home, and here as well. God bless.

How To Speak Like A Malaysian?

No, we don't have Indian accents like how Appoo (or however you spell his name) speaks in the Simpsons. We speak very good English, but with a little bit of twist... Okay, not a little... A lot actually.

We add Chinese dialects and Tamil in front, at the back, prefix and suffix in our sentences. Every time you wanna say dude, you say, "MACHA!" After every sentence, make sure you use the suffix "-lah", "arr", "woh" in appropriate sentences. Examples:

"You dam pretty-lah..."

"You how old arr??"

"If you don't use condom then I get pregnant then how woh?"

Never say "Hey", always say "DEI!"

"Dei macha, lets go eat..."

"Dei" can be used in front and at the back of sentences...

"Taco Bell sucks, dei..." "Dei, today is Sunday."

Or you can use both in front and at the back...

"Dei, today Sunday, dei..."

Yeaps. There are many more bad English structures and grammars in the way we speak English... Laugh all you want...

"Dei macha, you laugh some more-lah... I kick your balls arr... Later you cry then your girlfriend leave you woh... Haha, you dumb dei..."

It Was A Waste Of Time....

BCM had an event just now (11PM-12:30AM) called the Eleventh Hour. No, it's not some cool awesome video game gathering competition thingy, it's just a fancy name for Prayer Meeting. Such a waste of time. A GOOD way to waste your time xD. Other than the constant shivering (my fats are useless, make me heavy for nothing, damn you baby fats!) and the Chinese-accent guard coming to ask us to stop playing music (John the Baptist Collegiate Ministry to be exact) because the others were "studying", it was an awesome time of praying with my O'hana in Christ. I love all this kind of prayer meetings. The people around, somehow, will motivate you, or encourage you in someway. It's just awesome worshiping and praying with your friends. The songs are still boring though.

I thank God that I'm here in wet and boring Hilo, Hawaii. I thank God that I'm in a place where you have not so pretty black sand beaches. I thank God that I'm in a place where you get infections when you get into the water having a small cut on your body. I thank God that I'm in this place. I thank God I got here safely. I thank God for all that He has done, and yet to do in my life. I thank God for His awesome blessings. My family back home, and my family here. Colourful faces and attitudes, both comforting and annoying. Gosh, I love you guys. You guys rock. But ummmm, I rock the hardest.

Nick Knock (don't laugh) gonna listen to some Planetshakers.... Wooots...

Can't wait for Thanksgiving dinner at the BCM tonight (6:30PM)... Feast baby! FEAST! All you Malaysian folks can just drool at the pictures I'm gonna take... Drool while you see them stuffed turkey pictures and those other cool Thanksgiving dinner.

PS: Nothing can ever beat Nasi Lemak though =(.

Oh yeah, I did go for the Eleventh Hour, Erinn. My laptop was just left on. You missed an awesome time of prayer with bunch of nutsawesome people.

I love you too, Paul.

You Know...

You know that you're a college student when you're going out super often, spending too much money and you're doing your homework/assignment that is due in a few hours time. Yeap, I've been going out too much for the pass few days, and crap, it's so good 0.0 I spent so much of money in the pass week. Mamamia! Need to get my priorities straight! It's such a bad timing for this transition to happen. Finals are like in a couple of weeks away and I'm starting to be a college kid. This is bad. Time to go back being a Malaysian xD.

Church was alright today. We had a combined service (Young Adults and oldmain service). #-moto led the Praise and Worship team today. I made so many mistakes and I think most of you know that when I make mistakes, I do some weird face expressions... So yeah, I made loads of those weird face expressions today... My bad. Sorry for the mistakes! Man, these people gotta play some news songs... Where's the Hillsong United and the Planetshakers? I can't believe I'm saying this but, I miss playing Majesty 0.0 To the next worship leader (BCM or Kaumana Drive Baptist Church): PLEASE, PLEASE PICK SOME HILLSONG UNITED AND PLANETSHAKERSPRAISE SONGS THE NEXT TIME I'M PLAYING FOR YOU.

Super sleepy now. Watched Twilight last night with #-moto and Erinn. Super hornycheesy lines. I was making fun of almost every scene... The only cool scene was the vampires playing baseball. I can't stop hissing like a vampire... All I need now is a "mortal" girlfriend (glue) to sniff.

You're my own type of chronic that I wanna put into the bong and smoke...

Yeap, that's what Edward Cullen said in the movie... Or something like that...

Baby Girl! xD

Dodgeball!

Dodge, duck, dip, dive, and dodge... That's what I did like 6 hours ago? 0.o Haha! I finally got to play dodgeball... And gosh, I suck at it... Seriously, I'm like a scape goat in my team, or maybe worse than an animal who's just waiting to get sacrificed... Wait, I didn't even sacrifice anything... I just, suck 0.0

Before D-ball, I went for praise and worship practice in Kaumana Drive Baptist church... I'll be playing drums for the combined service this Sunday (which is tomorrow 0.0). Means, I need to sleep early because the service starts at around 9AM and the Young Adults will be joining the main service (Yes, I'm considered a young adult here, I think). Most of the songs are new to me (Gosh, where are the Planetshakers and Hillsong stuff?!) and I kinda like forgot special parts to some songs and stuff... Ouch, sorry David Hashimoto (#-moto)!

We; John the Baptist Collegiate Ministry, Timothy Paul Chatham, David #-moto and I; made our way to the New Gym on campus for the D-ball tourney. I had to take a crap first so I was late. But thank God that I needed to take a crap at that time... Because Paul ditched me to go join some team with a sissy name (Ummm)... What kind of name is that? Gosh... Anyways, I got drafted to be in the Flying Pigs team (not my idea...) which consist of; the MVP - Ms. Erinn Walsh, the Chinese - Aja Lee (not her last name, she's Chinese so I guessed), the Burp Lady - Jessica Beck, the Starting Sweeper Soccer Guy Who Can Play All Types Of Sports Guy - Trebor W (something) and me, the Running Chicken... To be honest, I think I let down the team. It's always that *censored* Malaysian who gets kicked out first, what a pussy.

It's alright to get kicked out from the game if you get hit by the ball but, getting kick out from the game because you throw the ball like a sissy? Neh, not a good way to help your team. Dam that was embarrassing... I wanna play again though... This time I'm gonna fully flex my arms, get sore , get laid and wake up in the morning not feeling your shoulders... Yeaps...

After D-ball, we hung out outside Taco HellBell. A few of us were waiting for other people to come so that we can have supper together and stuff, but other than the few people waiting, none came. So we (Erinn, #-moto and I) ditched that satan-created joint and went to Ken's, where you can get awesome shitfood, and good chocolate... Woots! Spent loads of time there fellowship-ing...

Then I went down to Erinn's place around 1AM. Her place is so nice, I wanna stay there too. It's kinda like those cheap hotels back in Malaysia, but a little bit better. I mean, it might suck for a hotel, but it certainly is an awesome kick ass condo to live in when you're in college... And she has that super big surf board... Gosh.... Awesome stuff. Played some music, talked more, then she sent me home.

Thanks a lot Rachel for that D-ball tourney, thanks Paul for making me join this event (no thanks to you though that I got ditched...), good job to the Flying Pigs (I was probably their mascot >.<), thanks #-moto and Erinn for taking me out and making me sleep deprived... It's all good. Glory to God for all these wonderful people... When's kickball?

PS: Yeap, long and wordy entry. Will post pictures though, when Erinn finds the time xD. She brought along her D80, she got some awesome pictures (I look uber sexy in them, ask Paul, he got high seeing my pictures) from that D-ball event.

Now, sleep! Later, research and term paper...

BCM

Enjoyed the service a few hours ago. John showed us a video about Science and Spiritual or something like that by a pastor named Rob something something.... I'm bad with names... It kinda supports what I wrote a few weeks ago about not limiting God in a box. Super factual video, you might need to google some scientific questions to understand better, but it's an awesome video. I'll ask John for the title of the video and I'll post it here...

After that I went down to the BCM to "cruise"... To "cruise" means to hangout... Yeap, the lingo here. I finally tried Guitar Hero... It's kinda cool. Need more practice before I can actually enjoy the game though 0.0 Haha!

Thank God for the BCM, the people that sacrifice their time to make every BCM activity a success and also the BCM members (without us, BCM's dead xD). Glory to Him.

PS: Gonna play dodgeball for the first time tomorrow... Muahahahah! Ps.Mr. Timothy Paul Chatham, lets kick butt... I'll try my best though xD Haha!

Second Job?

I applied to work for my school newspaper (Ke Kalahea) as an Online Webmaster and an Assistant Layout Manager. Hope I get either one of them. It'll be interesting to work in a semi-pro press organization. The pay is quite handsome too but I won't tell everybody, only a few people. Can't wait to know the results. Well, I've already started reading about RSS feeds which would be useful for the website layout I have in mind now. Gosh.

Anyways, I want a Nikon D80 because it's a fun toy.

Agreed.

HERE

Agrreeeed! Medical exam won't prevent NS mishap... So why don't make NS a volunteering activity with loads and loads of good benefits?

I don't know. I personally dislike NS...

Racism in Malaysia

I think the government are targeting the wrong group of people to settle this problem. It's NOT the teenagers or the youth of Malaysia who are racist. In fact, students of different races in a school mix quite well (excluding some exceptions, there are always a few nuts out there).

It is the ADULTS who are the root of this problem. We, the youth of Malaysia, rarely go around saying, "That bloody Malay" "Itu cinapek..." "Kongsi Raya - Kongsi Gelap". I mean, sometimes teenagers can't tolerate each other but the adults are the one who bad mouths people using racist remarks. And according to my observations, most of them are the well to do people. They're the ones who are complaining non-stop, cursing each races, not the youth. The weaker teenagers are the ones who get influenced. But other than the, we're doing fine.

So, who should be the one attending National Service instead? Wake up, "wiser" citizens of Malaysia!

Jam Session!

Dave Hashimoto (also known as #-moto to me) just moved in to his new house, his whole family, sorry. And gosh, that house is the shitfeaces(sp?)... The house dam frigging big! Haha!

Before Dave picked me up from the BCM, Mr. John Endriss of the BCM took me to the mall because I had to go settle my social security card (yes, hasn't come yet) problem. I needed to reapply for a new card and it'll be in my postbox in two weeks time. Hope I get it this time. The Career Center people ain't gonna be happy if I don't show them my card in a few weeks time. I get constant reminder about my social security card from the clerk working in the Career Center (forgot her name) because I usually proctor/monitor exams in the Career Center... Bummer. Every time I enter there, I need to say, "It hasn't arrived yet..." ARGH! Well, two more weeks.

After that, went back to the BCM, Dave and I went to Taco Bell for lunch first. Gosh, Taco Bell is surprisingly cheap (if you earn U$D). I mean, not sooo cheap but, it's cheap. I had some nachos thingy and it was kinda nice. The sauce ain't that spicy though. Was feeling super full after lunch. Then we carried on our journey to the Hashimoto Manor (kudos to Jacob for the name). Took around an hour (we stopped by the post office and stuff). Beautiful house, beautiful scenery too.

I used Dave's old drumset. Sounds awesomely good. Yummy too. Dave uses a nice Gibson Les Paul. Sounds so good... Jacob came later around 4 something. He uses a Fender Jazz Bass.. Sounds good also... After setting up, we jammed! I couldn't play properly because some of the songs that Jacob and Dave were playing are like super punk rock songs that I've never heard before... So sorry guys! Not a punk rock fan. We jammed 808 by Olivia the Band though. Nice nice nice....

Hopefully we'll get to jam again in the near future... This time we shall set a song list xD

Glory to God...

I miss my drumset 0.0

Ping Pong!

Playing ping pong late at night has become a ritual for Matt and I. I kick his ass all the time, but he's getting better 0.0

Dilemma: To continue doing Bachelors of Science or to change to Bachelors of Arts? Both are kinda the same, but in Bachelors of Arts, I only have to take like 70+ credit hours; meaning, less subjects to get my degree in Marine Science. The downside about Bachelors of Arts though, is that Organic Chemistry isn't included in the required Science subjects list. But, I can still take Organic Chemistry if I change to Bachelors of Arts. I'll continue to take my Physics too, even if I dislike it so much (grrr). It's simple as that.

But my adviser and other lecturers advise me to stick to the Bachelors of Science program. I don't get it. Hmmmm.

Anyways, I made up my mind that I'm gonna be taking Environmental Science as a Minor and for my Marine Science electives, I'll be taking all Aquaculture stuff. Woots.

Role Models

I forgot the exact name of that show, Role Model or Role Models... Kinda cool. Went to watch that movie around 10PM just now. Yeap, on a Monday night. Thank you, Ms. Erinn =).

now I'm sleepy.

Sunday, November 16, 2008

Wooots!

I'm not gonna play drums later today in church. I'm gonna play the djemba drums. Some native percussion thingy. My right index finger hurts now 0.0

After practice, Nick Knock took me to Big Island Pizza to get dinner. Gosh, not only the pizzas are delicious, their sandwiches are awesome too... I had this turkey, bacon thingy sandwich... And wow, I love it! I WANT MORE! Subway can never ever compare to that sandwich! Well, to be honest, I still like the BMT sandwich from Subway but, the turkey sandwich thingy from Big Island Pizza is the shhhhhhiiiiittt!

Came back after dinner, watched a movie called Pulp Fiction. It's alright. Very slow going.... Sllloooowwww.... But cool storyline.

Half way through the movie, Erinn came online on MSN Messenger. I asked her to come fetch me and just hang out. And yes, she did! WOOOOTS! Thanks a lot Erinn! We went to a 24 hours diner called Kens. It's an awesome place. Loads of food that I must go back to try. WOOOTS! I had hot chocolate and crap, it was so good. We had onion rings too. After Kens, we went to some swan pond or something like that. Listened to some music and then we went to the University Palms to visit Jacob... YES! Mr. JACOB! I miss him. Haha! He was drunk and high. Funny guy.

Gosh, thanks Erinn for the night out! Really enjoyed talking with you. Lets go out another time, when our stomachs are empty and we're feeling super hungry... Then we can order that Sumo Loco Moco thingy... Gosh, 6 scoops of rice, 5oz of lean beef, loads of spam and three eggs! ARGGGHHH!!! FFFOOOODDD!!!

THANK YOU ERINNN!!!!

Sleepy...

Slept around 4-4:30AM last night (this early monring). I downloaded Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix movie. It took me only arond 30 minutes to download the full movie 0.0 Gosh, this is sweet. Planned to finish watching the movie but decided to go sleep half way because I planned to go to a yard sale (which I did) at around 6:30AM...

Spencer knocked on my door around 6:40AM. He drove me down to the house where the people had a yard sale. According to Spencer, it was a very small yard sell. I have to agree, in the movies, yard sales are always big and full of shitnice stuff. The only nice stuff I found there was an acoustic guitar with a hard case (cost U$D100 but I only had U$D20... Should have offered him my U$D20 *cries*) and a fog machine 0.0 Haha! I was planning to get a fridge but they didn't have one. Stupid yard sale.

Came back 15 minutes later and I went back to bed (the only sane thing to do on a Saturday morning) and woke up around 4 hours later (11AM). Went to go grab my brunch and then cleaned my room (yes, I clean) and then did my homework and watched the rest of the Harry Potter movie. The movie was alright. Gonna go download Lord of the Rings the trilogy now xD.

Anyways, I've finished my annotated bibliography already. Sent an email with an attachment of my file to let my lecturer go through. I hope she does. She didn't reply my email at all when I sent my first draft to her. Gosh! Haha! She must be busy enjoying the humpback whales in Alaska.

Now I'm feeling sleepy and in an hour time, Nick Knock is coming to fetch me for Praise and Worship practice. Uh-oh... ZzzZZzZzZzzz

Study... Woooohoooooo @.@

Finish studying for my Marine Biology Cellular Processes exam already. Now I'm reviewing my Marine Biology Diversity notes. Hopefully I'll review everything by tonight, plus my Calculus notes too. Haven't checked my lecturer's website for the study guide for Calculus 0.o Gosh!

Kinda worried about my Calculus exam this time. Well, this is not the first time worrying about Calculus but, I bet this time the paper is gonna be so much harder than the last one. I hope I get an A. Argh!!!!

Jen Jen is gonna transfer to the Manoa campus next semester! =( She leaving me.... *cries* She said that Hilo is too boring for her. Can't convert her with that strong point. Well, we shall rock during the Christmas holidays! Will miss you Ms. Nakano... Also known as "the child of obedience" xD.

I'm gonna get a vacuum cleaner and a fridge for less than U$D70. WOOOTS!

Agreed.

HERE

I agree with the police chief. Why sing the national anthem? It's an illegal gathering. No point has been made, nothing was achieved; except mocking the national anthem. Same situation as the motorcyclist, or a guy with a helmet, (0.o) who was photographed burning the Jalur Gemilang (or was trying to put out the fire) during an opposition rally (this was in the news before the General Elections 2008, not sure whether he's supporting the opposition or the government) few months back. How did that action achieve anything? It didn't achieve anything, making no point, like singing the national anthem in an ILLEGAL gathering. In the end of the day, both the National Anthem and the Jalur Gemilang were mocked.

Annoying 0.0

I'm sure that everybody gets annoyed by certain stuff. Like, the frequent advertisements shown on TV, traffic jam and etc. But do you know what really grinds my gears lately?

I have a MySpace profile for like, over a month now. Not many friends thought. Don't use it often, but I have a kick ass template though xD.... Okay, not to digress any further, do you know what really grinds my gears? I found many of my Malay friends on MySpace. That's cool that they're on MySpace and everything... I added a few up. Kinda happy that they still remember me and all but, when they start posting comments on your page, now that really grinds my gears...

I spent like, 3-5 minutes trying to figure out what one of my Malay friend just posted on my page 0.0 They have this weird chatting lingo or something. It's frigging annoying!

thanks 4 da add..
igt gk ko kt aku an??
how are u???
wt pe skang???

You understand that crap? First and third line is okay. But what about the second and forth line? 0.o The forth line is I think, "Buat apa sekarang?": Doing what now? I can't grasp the full meaning of the second line. Gosh, this is annoying.

I have another friend on MySpace, a Malay guy too who doesn't use LOL, which is cool, but uses "Huhuhuhuhu" What does that supposed to mean?! He was saying that he has loads of good friends and then he Huhu-ed... Then I saw him comment on my other friend's page saying something very bad happened to him and then he Huhu-ed there as well.... Is huhu like Haha? Sounds like people crying.

Annoying... Worse than 1337.

I found Bus Co.'s cover on a Justin Timberlake song... Gosh, killer solo by Sam Oh.

Back!

Back from the Young Adult Fellowship of Kaumana Drive Baptist church (hope I got the name of the church right 0.o) retreat to a military camp (KMC as its abbreviation) at somewhere on the volcanoes. Or is it at the Volcanoes National Park, which would be the same thing, I gues 0.o

Anyways, left the Baptist Collegiate Ministry (BCM; this is the last time I'll be typing our the full name 0.0) building around 3-4PM with Nick, Jason, Shannon, Aiden and Trebor (yes, it's Trebor, not Trevor). Reached the place about an hour later? The place is so chilly, something like Genting Highlands back at home, minus all those rides though. The place is so beautiful, neat and clean. Makes me wanna move there 0.0 Haha! The dorms are awesome too. There were only like, 18-20 of us but we had 4 rooms that had 6 beds in each room... Yeap, we got loads of space. Our evening was kinda laid back. We played Spud and Kickball before dinner. Dinner came late though xD. Christina and Jerome came kinda late, they were in charge of the food. Jerome cooked some awesome chili for us... IT TASTED SO GOOOOOOD! It's not spicy or anything but it's still nice. Then we had devotion which was so good. Nick is a really good preacher/sharer or however you like to call a person who shares/preaches in a devotion session (0.o). After the devotion, we had SMORES! Marshmallow, melted over a campfire, eaten with chocolate and two Graham crackers... Yes, REAL smores 0.0 It tasted awesome!

After the smores part, we celebrate Shannon's and Rachel's birthday. Was kinda like a surprise party. The cake was awesome. Christina baked it. We were supposed to have fun playing some games and stuff, but most of the participants were sleepy already. They slept uber early for these kinds of retreats 0.0 Well, I stayed up with a few people to play some Uno and Poor Man, Rich Man. It seems that the Uno rules we play back in Malaysia is wrong 0.o Gosh!

Woke up kinda early this morning. Played Pictionary while waiting for others to wake up. Then we had an awesome devotion. We did it outdoors and Nick was speaking about the "wilderness". At the end of the session, he asked us to just like, go to a certain spot that they wanna go (trees, bushes, flower beds) and just enjoy the moment, let God's creation rejuvenate us. It was so awesome.

After devotion we played Spud and Kickball again. It's so frigging fun! We also played some frustrating games as well, like those Black Magic and Bang Bang Bang, Who Dies kinda games that you guys like to play in Malaysia....

Overall, it was worth it! Worth the U$D20 I spent! Wait, money is not the matter here, worth every second I spent in the retreat. Thank God. Glory to Him.

Order of the pictures below is not correct. I blame blogspot:

Aiden on top. From left: Rachel, Phuong, Heather, Shannon (the girl in black near Aiden) and Nick's arm.

From left: Paul, Rachel, Phuong, Heather, Jessica, Nick's arm and Aiden still on top.

Trebor. This made like a few guys try to climb up to the ceiling 0.0 Haha!

My room. Stayed with Jason, Trebor and Nick (he came to this room to sleep because it was quiet).

Paul with the guitar and the girl in pink is Cassidy.

Anti-clockwise: Phuong, Jaime, Jason, Nick and Jerome.

The bowling alley. We didn't bowl though.

From left: Cassidy in green, Heather in pink, Nick, Phuong, Jessica, Rachel and Jason.

From left: Heather, Jessica, Shannon, Trebor and Nick. Can't make out who's the one sitting down.

Kudos rice bars... Awesome stuff.. They have Snickers and M&M flavour. Awesome!

Dona (Nick's mum) made these rice balls. They're frigging awesome 0.0

Trebor in red. Then the rest you can cross reference with the other picture above. Lazy edi.

From left: Trebor, Jason, Cassidy, Nick, Heather, Christina and Paul.

YEEEAAHHH!!

Swiss Miss, the best chocolate I've ever drank!

The place where we melted smores.

The army cabins, I think.

The pact.
