Festival Day!

Today was Q-Dees, Andalas' Festival Day, or whatever it is called xD! It's the day when all the kids get to dress up in their party animal clothes or in their traditional clothes, to celebrate the various festivals/celebration of every race in Malaysia (I think xD). Kids today turned up in their different "costumes". They looked awesome! Some parents were ignorant about reading their kids' communication book and forgot to dress their kids up and contribute some snacks or food for the pot luck that their kids will be having during schooling hours. So yeah, few kids turned up wearing the ugly grey uniform. Haha! Dam parents! Kidding. We're all humans and we make mistakes. Anyways, I saw kids in Cheongsams, Jeepa(sp?), Baju Melayu/Kurung, Sarees(sp?), normal casual clothes (except an Indian boy who wore something like a tuxedo) and there were like three little girls who dressed up as belly dancers! :O. Kids.... Sheesh... Haha! There were loads of food, I ate a "small" portion of the teacher's food xD. The kids had loads of fun, and I did too. Wheee! God bless them innocent small people. May the good Lord bless them two folds!!!!

Argh! Bad news for me: No scuba diving. Hmmmm... No command...

Some pictures:

My uncle. Haha! Went to his house on Thaipusam day for breakfast. After the meal, he came out from his bedroom like that. Haha! Life starts at sixty xD.

Swimming pool. I was granted permission to jump into the pool this Friday by the principal. Muahaha!

Took this picture with Shirlyn and little girl, Eunice.

Take 1 with Bryan(not sure if that's his name xD).

Take 2 because of the half naked boy who intruted the first take (after swimming class).

Took this today. With some 6 year olds.

This is Roo Ai in her authentic Korean traditional clothing. Her cousin bought it in Korea for her. Pretty girl.

Scuba Diving?

=( Not sure whether I can join Ps. John and gang for the dive trip to Phuket. Sigh. I've been looking forward for this trip but chances of going to Phuket with them is slim.

Anyways, my laptop rocks xD. Spend so much time playing games >.< haha. Today was boring. I wanna go back to work! Oh yeah, I finally woke up late this morning xD. It's been awhile since I've slept so long. Arrr. Love lazing on my bed....

I need Photoshop installation CD. Adobe Premier too. Sigh. I think I left it in camp (GY Camp) =(. Oh, good news; if I don't go for the scuba diving trip, most probably I'll go for Camp Meta, I think xD.

Shweet!

Finally my laptop is fully charged after 8 hours. I installed my favourite computer game (yes, I do have a favourite computer game), that is Championship Manager 2001/2002. Everything about my laptop is alright; except for the booting and the small shift button xD. I defragted the computer already but don't know why it's still taking a long time to boot. Gonna call Issac tomorrow (later). Will update blog later. Now gonna play game. Muahaha!

Laptop's here!

Yay! Went to collect my laptop just now, and now it's lying on the floor in the laptop bag. Sheesh! Supposed to charge the battery overnight but I can't. Why? Because I was too dumb to check the plug of the charger that's NOT the standard shape in Malaysia, BUT in USA! Haha! Speaking about long term planning and investment! Haha! Gonna buy the "special" plug converter or whatever it is tomorrow. THEN only can charge and start doing stuff on my laptop. For now, it'll just be in the bag, lying on the floor (if put on table, I scared will fall lerr xD).

Work todayyesterday was alright. I wore a three-quarter pants to work initially. Then my former babysitter (who is one of the teachers in the kindergarten) asked me to call my dad to iron a pair of long pants and bring it to the kindergarten for me because people from the HQ (Q-Dees has a HQ! What the eff...) will be coming to visit the Andalas branch. Haha! I was practically avoiding the principal for about 30 minutes, didn't want her to notice that I was wearing "short" pants. Thank God my dad came in time and I changed. No belt though xD. Why I didn't wear long pants to work? My dad told me the night before that there's a pair already ironed in my closet. But the next day I woke up, I couldn't find it. Sheesh. It seems I wore that particular pair of long pants on Monday and Tuesday. Sheesh-ness! Haha! In the end, the HQ people came to visit the afternoon session. HAHAH!

Went to my grandparents' house for dinner just now. Kinda a small farewell dinner for my brother, but he hardly ate anything because almost all the dishes were pork and he doesn't like eating pork. HAha! Bummer for my grandma xD.

My dad isn't happy about the cost for the scuba diving trip with Ps. John. It's expensive according to my dad. Gonna check out with Miss Lily tomorrow(today). =(

Can't wait for work tomorrow =P. Night Night!

my generation cause we don't,
don't give a fuck and we won't ever give a fuck until you,
you give a fuck about ME and MY Generation
PS - Hehe xD. Sorry, just love this song xD

Scuba Diving

Yay! Thank GOD I finally went to collect my diving license(s). Now I have Open Water Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver license. So, I'm ready to go on dive trips without an instructor (with buddies, of course). Just hope I don't cause any trouble or kill myself xD. Haha! Ps. John and the Youth Adult group planned a scuba diving trip to Phuket, Thailand and my dad just gave me the green light to "tag" along. Wheee! Thank God. After completing my Advanced course (and paying for my own wet suit which I'm not sure I'm able to fit or not, boots and gloves), I've been wanting to go on a dive trip with Ps. John. He's a dive master! I kinda forgot part of some precautions I have to take before, during and after dives. So, gonna read the manual ALL over again AFTER my TOEFL test of course. I'm saving my money for my own mask and flippers too xD. I'm THAT excited! Haha!

I had a "dilemma" on whether to go on this dive trip or not since the trip clashes with my driving test. But thank GOD. It seems some rules and regulations disallow me to take my driving test (something about waiting after a month after getting my L license before I can take the test). So yeah, THANK GOD for this "mishap" xD.

Rene, a 4 year old student of Q-Dees said "hi" to me today. WHEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!

Need to exercise, means, later, 2AM....

EDIT: Oh yeah! I won't be getting a MacBook anymore. It's just too sucky xD.

TM Net.....

... You're crappy... The only reason why I'm using this S.O.B. Internet Service Provider is that I can't find a cheaper ISP that offers broadband. Please tell me if I'm wrong. Really desperate to find a new ISP.

I can't load any YouTube videos, it takes like uber long to load a page, and the best part is, TM Net is so bad now, that the TM Net page can't even load xD. Haha!

Not a cajole (hoax)!

Is this crapolla happening to me only? Whatever it is, TM Net is robbing us!

Short Hair

I despise short hair! Haha! Went for a hair cut yesterday. Grrrr.... My head feels, light... Haha!

Koko's back! Muahahah! He gots a long holiday so he dropped by Malaysia for awhile. Wheee! Went out for dinner with him last night. Hope to spend more time with him some other day. He'll be going to Japan (I think) on Thursday. Shucks!

Quicky

A quicky update here. Went for Youth yesterday. I played drums. The number of the crowd is shrinking... Haha! Was kinda shock about the number. Why aren't people attending youth? Hmmm. Anyways, Praise and Worship session was good. I enjoyed Praising the Lord. Then they aired a movie for us to watch; We Are Marshals, I think.

I didn't get to finish my movie. My dad called so I have to "abandon" the movie. Shucks. Haha. My parents and I went to visit my grandparents in PJ. I didn't know that there would be a big dinner. Haha. Almost everyone in my extended family at my mum's side were in my grandparents house last night. It was an enjoyable time.

About the new iPod. It's the old model but I'm happy with it. Black colour sleek casing. 60GB of storage (yummy). Muahaahaha! Gonna transfer the WHOLE of season one Heroes into the iPod. The iPod is actually my mum's. But I doubt she can fill up the 60GB of storage space. I can't do anything to the iPod now, can't add or remove files because my cousin forgot to pass me the iTunes software CD. Crapolla. My mum bought it from her, Joey =), for only RM400. It's cheap to me *grins*. I dislike the earphones. It doesn't fit into my ear hole..... Haha!

iPod!

Yay! Thank God! I finally have an iPod! Wheee! Okay, it's not mine, it's my mum's. BUT, I still can use it? Wheeee!!!!

Driving

I just got my L license. I went for my driving practice just now right after work. Was kinda excited and nervous but hey, thank God I learned a few things. Haha! I made a lot of mistakes; my engine went off like more than 7 times and I couldn't even pass the little hill... Hmmm... Well, at the end of the day, I think I did well for a first timer xD. Haha. Few days back I was just thinking about giving up, not wanting to get a license to drive. My mind is always set to the "you-suck" mode. All I can say after my first day of practice is that, thank God for making it so fun to drive =P.

Work is awesome. I know I said it a few times already but just wanna repeat that sentence to emphasise on how AWESOME my work is! Haha! I got my pay two days ago (Wednesday). Thank God for the money. All glory goes to Him. The kids are so nice to be with. I made LOADS of friends. Most of the kids in the ground floor classes are my friends xD. Muahahaha! There so many sweet experiences to share with you (yes, it's only the second week of work and I already have sweet memories xD) but I can't type it all out here. It'll take AGES to type it out here. So I'm just gonna pick the SWEETEST event! Haha!

There's this little girl, four years old, Miss Tee Joey. She was playing with this small lego-like blocks. She connected and stacked the blocks up. It was kinda high. So I picked it up and asked Miss Joey what did she form with the blocks. And she said a tall castle (imagination). Then I asked her whether she was the queen and she said yes. After answering, I asked her who's the king of the castle? She said ME =). Muahahahahhaha! Then I hugged that little small girl.....

Kids in kindergarten are calling me Teacher Jonathan instead of koko >.< Dang! Haha!

I'm playing in YE tomorrow. I'm getting so worried about my English test (TOEFL). I regretted not learning up the words to build my vocabulary when my brother asked me to. Dumb me. Sheesh!

Random Brushing

It has been a long time since I've touched Photoshop. So here goes my most recent ummm, throw up(?):

It's sucky I know >.<

Anyways, my apologies to Mr. Lim An Drew for not submitting my t-shirt design for Camp Meta YET. Still working on it xD!

Emily!

I'm just too lazy to edit any videos now so yeah, I'll just blog about Emily instead of vLogging her xD. Firstly, I would just like to briefly introduce Miss Emily Chan Phee Ern the Strange. She'll be turning 18 this 20th of March if I'm not mistaken. She's a very jolly person. She's always almost happy, she makes other people happy too. She's a smart little girl, a top ten student in my class. She's modest and humble. She's a good keyboardist (she fills in Hillsong's songs very well), even though she has a phobia for doing a keyboard solo xD. I met Emily in school (STAR) and I know her when I was in Form 2. I only became friends with her when we were in Form 3 (2005). Both of us were in the same class for three years. I don't know much about her interests and hobbies but I certainly know that she's a very dedicated person in everything she does. She's a very strong believer and she likes to serve the Lord. She's also a very honest and trustworthy treasurer xD Haha! She's a bit shy but at the same time friendly =). Take all her qualities and character and abridge them, resulting in a very blessed friend that God has given to you and to me =).

I left my house around 6:15PM with Bernie, Nisha and Andrew for KLIA. My mum drove us there. Thank GOD for her. And also thank GOD that we reached the airport in time to spend some quality time with Miss Emily. We were worried that we'll be reach there late. But thank God that everything went well. We met Emily at the F Check-In counter xD. Wow, they were bringing a lot of stuff over to Aussie, man! Really, I never even thought that they (MAS Airlines) would let Emily and her family (excluding her dad who's already in Aussie and her elder brother who's not following her) board the airplane with so many things! Haha! Caleb, Emily's younger brother, brought along his X-Box 360. Haha! We were hoping that he won't be able to bring it along but.... He did... DAM! If not I bet Andrew would be more than happy to "keep" it for him xD. Haha! Before Emily and her family went to the customs (sp?) area, we had dinner in McDonalds with the rest of the gang (her youth group and some other random people I've never met before xD). Thank you Emily for spending me dinner =P. After dinner, Emily and her family went down the escalator and after following from above them to the customs area for a few minutes, we lost track on them. HAha!

Well, I'm sure that won't be the last time I'll be seeing Emily. I'm sure I'll be meeting up with her someday. Whatever it is, let God's will be done in her life. God bless you Miss Emily Chan Phee Ern the Strange!

This is Emily. Taken during the CF Committee meeting few weeks ago.

This was taken during her farewell party. From left: Bernie, Emily, Me, and Andrew.

Bye Bye Emily!

Awwwwww.... Emily left for Australia last night..... Awwwww... I'm gonna miss her!

Will post vLog about Emily when I'm done.

Now: HEROES!

Heroes!

Muahahaha! Heroes baby! This series is just too addictive. I just started watching a few days ago and crap, now I'm watching like 3 episodes a day. Haha! That's why I've not been updating my blog xD. My bad!

I went to The Star Education fair yesterday. I was hunting for a college which could give me more information about Marine Biology. I did get a lot of information about my secondary interests (Mass Communication; the advertising and graphic branch and Nursing) but about Marine Biology, only ONE university in that fair which actually OFFER Marine Science =). Muahhah! It's James Cook University. I came across their website few nights before the fair. The Marine Science campus is in Australia. If I would to study in that university, I'll be either going to the Townsville or Cairns campus in Aussie. They accept A Levels and also STPM (yes, they do) to enter the university. So yeah, I thought of doing STPM after knowing about the requirements. If not, I'll just go do my diploma in Aussie straight away.

After the fair, my dad took my to his friend's house to speak to his friend's daughter about Marine Science. She did her degree in Marine Science in Hawaii. She went to the University of Hawaii, Hilo just with her SPM results. All she needed to do is to take an English test (TOEFL; which I might be sitting this 27th of January) before she went to study in Hawaii. Yes, no SAT needed. Don't ask me how, it's the way the University runs. Thank God for bringing someone into my life who can guide me and tell me about Marine Science. It's all His will.

So now all I need to do is to get the application form from the university's website and fill it up and send it to them, then take the English test. I know nuts about the test. Just e-mailed Louisa (my father's friend's daughter) for information about the test. Hope it's easy. My English is below average.

Around 7:30PM, Andrew picked Bernie and me up from my house to go to Emily's aunt's house for her farewell party. It's actually a farewell party thrown for Emily by her church Youth group. Andrew faced some "difficulties" trying to find my house. I don't know, maybe it's my bad instructions OR it's Andrew's fault! Haha! The party was kinda quiet. Nothing much to do. But thank God for the fellowship with three of my friends; Andrew, Bernie and Emily. Oh yeah, for those who don't know, Emily's going to Aussie tomorrow =(. If everything goes well, I'll be going with Andrew to KLIA tomorrow to say goodbye to Miss Emily (the Chee Hua Hua xD).

I played drums in Fellowship Hall today in church. The drums suck. Sorry, I just feel that way. And guess what, the Aftershock video wasn't shown today. Argh! This is the second week edi. Sorry people! Ps. Henry overshot I think xD.

Borrrriiiinnnnnggggg....

Firstly, I would like to wish a Happy New Year (Awal Muharam sp?) to all my Muslim friends. Not sure whether you're reading this but, what the heck, still gonna wish you people. God bless.

Woke up early today to go for the Theory seminar for driving. Three hours of bullcrap! Haha! It was so freaking boring. This Malay instructor was trying to be a funny guy. He started crapping some jokes... Gah! I played Tetris for like an hour and a half... Haha! Dumbass man!

After the seminar, I came home and took a long nap.. My naps have been very long these few days. My naps are like, 3-4 hours... Sheesh! Piggy me!

Nothing interesting happened today. I miss work. Thank God it's workday tomorrow =P. Hahaha!

Hmmmm.

1. "...the use of Islamic terms is a way to lure Muslims to Christianity. ..."

2. "... Evangelical proselytising is a problem Muslim nations encounter, as seen in Afghanistan where missionaries go in the guise of aid workers. ..."

1. Allah is not an Islamic term:

Allah

The name for God, the Supreme Being, in the Arabic language; the common name for God in Islam.

http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/Allah

2. The usage of the word "guise" there is kinda insulting, don't you think? One question, what are you doing to help the people in Afghanistan?

Hmmmmmm....

Second Day of Work

Dam, I'm enjoying every second of my work! Haha! I was the earliest assistant teacher to reach the school today (yay me =D). So yeah, I stayed outside at the kindergarten gate, waiting for the kids to come to school to greet them. The first car came, I smiled, opened the door, and said good morning, but the kid cried... Dam! Haha! I quickly asked Thilaga (sp?), another assistant teacher, to greet that kid. Sheesh! Then another car came, I did the same thing, and the kid still cried! Dang! Bad streak! HAha! But the kids after that were alright. Two kids vomited in my class today. Thank God I wasn't there when it happened. More kids cried today. The kids that did not cry yesterday cried today. Weird. And Jessie cried today... Sheesh.. She forgot me some more.. Meanie girl!

Anyways, I made a new friend today :). Her name is Yee Xin! I think I got her name right. It seems that she goes home late all the time, the latest in fact. Well, now I have two kids to play with after the school hours: Matt and Yee Xin, and here they are =P:

Cute, aren't they?

Gonna put my cymbals up later. I took it down for Youth last Saturday. Need to practice. Haha! And oh yeah, I started jobbing again. Just hope that I'll continue to jog for the next few months xD.

I miss playing Yahoo! Pool. It's so boring now, I can't host tournaments. Everybody's asleep when I get back from work. Sigh!

First Day of Work

Arrr! It was awesome! Thank God for this job! Seriously! I'm not gonna complain one bit! Some kids were crying nonstop in my class but hey, it's their first day of school! I hugged this boy crying nonstop... He was like, calling his dad!! Haha! I told him to hug me... Then he did.. But too bad, he didn't stop crying. Haha! Anyways, all glory goes to God if I get any compliments... Thank God for His blessings. Amen. Shirlyn is now my colleague =P.

PS: Edited; typo >.<

Happy Birthday to Shirlyn Yap =)

Happy Birthday Miss Shirlyn Yap. God bless you!

Came back about an hour ago from Shirlyn's birthday party (and Jun Hor's) just now. It was in The Jeth Ice Cream and Coffee and something cafe xD. It's kinda like a gathering to celebrate her birthday because all of us paid for our own food =P (I donated like RM4; my change for my food haha). Thank God for all these type of events/occasions. Without them, I wouldn't have a chance to meet my secondary school friends. I feel kinda motivated in a way when I see my ex-classmates. Almost the whole bunch of my school friends are there (5S1) except a few (Reinchez, Kaviraj, Lubo and Vignes). Kavi's tissue in the knee tore! Arrr... God, please heal him! I'm just happy seeing all them people again. I'm hoping for another birthday party xD. HAha! I think I'll have mine *hint*, I think.

Yee Thien.

Lay Kuan.

Brendan.

Bernie.

Jacklyn.

I'm starting work tomorrow. Kinda excited. Haha!

And oh yeah. They didn't show the GY Camp Aftershock video again. This time, it's in the agenda, BUT, I think Ps. Ronald Ooi overshot that part. Sheeesh!

MADtel For GOD Productions

And oh yeah! I'm no more working for my uncle. I mean, I changed my mind xD. Haha! I'm now an Assistant Teacher in a kindergarten (QDees, Andalas, I think). Don't laugh! I love kids!

Grace Youth Klang

Youth Energy, soon to be known as Grace Youth Klang (Ps. John is planning to have this integrated system), is kinda quiet these days. Hmmm... Not sure what happened, but it was relatively fun just now. I played drums for the praise and worship team, co-lead by Mr. Adrian Yap and Mr. Justin (yeap, from USJ). I played like, out of five songs, three songs were new to me. The testimony time is just too long. What happened to allowing only two people or 3-5 minutes per person? I don't like youth services to be soooo lonnng... Haha! Well, however it is, I told Sherenne that I'll be free for the next 7-8 weeks. So yeah, I'm serving in youth again.

I don't think I wanna join Rangers anymore. Lazy. Haha!

I Passed It =)

Thank God that I passed my Undang test just now. I got a 45 out of 50. Wheee! I know it might be a small thing for most of you but to me, it's a big thing :). So, thank GOD =). I went to the test-taking place around 8:30AM and reached back home around 12PM+. Then after that I came online to host a tournament on the CyberSharks Yahoo! Pool league. Then around 2PM I got ready to go out with Sze Lyn and her sister's gang... She was supposed to fetch me from my house at 3PM... But she only came at 5:30PM; the time for the movie we booked (National Treasure 2). Since we couldn't catch the movie, we bought tickets to go watch I Am Legend. I should have read the summary first before I decide to watch that movie.. I didn't know it was that scary (for me at least). Haha! Other than the scary parts, I think that I Am Legend has a very good plot, I love the settings. It's awesome! It's kinda short though. Now, I just need to endure the darkness...... Dam, I don't have them metal shields to cover my window :(. Hahahah!

Cool?

Science vs. God

"Let me explain the problem science has with Jesus Christ." The
atheist professor of philosophy pauses before his class and then asks one of
his new students to stand.

"You're a Christian, aren't you, son?"

"Yes sir," the student says.

"So you believe in God?"

"Absolutely."

"Is God good?"

"Sure! God's good."

"Is God all-powerful? Can God do anything?"

"Yes."

"Are you good or evil?"

"The Bible says I'm evil."

The professor grins knowingly. "Aha! The Bible!" He considers for a moment.

"Here's one for you. Let's say there's a sick person over here and you can
cure him. You can do it. Would you help him. Would you try?"

"Yes sir, I would."

"So you're good...!"

"I wouldn't say that."

"But why not say that? You'd help a sick and maimed person if you could. Most
of us would if we could. But God doesn't."

The student does not answer, so the professor continues. "He doesn't,does
he?
My brother was a Christian who died of cancer, even though he prayed to Jesus
to heal him. How is this Jesus good? Hmmm? Can you answer that one?"

The student remains silent.

"No, you can't, can you?" the professor says. He takes a sip of water from a
glass on his desk to give the student time to relax.

"Let's start again, young fella Is God good?"

"Er...yes," the student says.

"Is Satan good?"

The student doesn't hesitate on this one. "No."

"Then where does Satan come from?"

The student : "From...God..."

"That's right. God made Satan, didn't he? Tell me, son. Is there evil in this
world?"

"Yes, sir."

"Evil's everywhere, isn't it? And God did make everything, correct?"

"Yes."

"So who created evil?" The professor continued, "If God created everything,
then God created evil, since evil exists, and according to the principle that
our works define who we are, then God is evil."

Without allowing the student to answer, the professor continues: "Is there
sickness, Immorality, Hatred, Ugliness, All these terrible things,do they
exist in this world?"

The student: "Yes."

"So who created them?"

The student does not answer again, so the professor repeats his question.
"Who created them? There is still no answer. Suddenly the lecturer breaks
away to pace in front of the classroom. The class is mesmerized.

"Tell me," he continues onto another student. "Do you believe in Jesus
Christ, son?"

The student's voice is confident: "Yes, professor, I do."

The old man stops pacing. "Science says you have five senses you use to
identify and observe the world around you.

Have you ever seen Jesus?"

"No sir. I've never seen Him"

"Then tell us if you've ever heard your Jesus?"

"No, sir, I have not."

"Have you ever actually felt your Jesus, tasted your Jesus or smelt your
Jesus?
Have you ever had any sensory perception of Jesus Christ, or God for that
matter?"

"No, sir, I'm afraid I haven't."

"Yet you still believe in him?"

"Yes."

"According to the rules of empirical, testable, demonstrable protocol, science
says your God doesn't exist.

What do you say to that, son?"

"Nothing," the student replies. "I only have my faith."

"Yes, faith," the professor repeats. "And that is the problem science has
with God. There is no evidence, only faith."

The student stands quietly for a moment, before asking a question of his
own.

"Professor, is there such thing as heat?"

"Yes," the professor replies. "There's heat."

"And is there such a thing as cold?"

"Yes, son, there's cold too."

"No sir, there isn't."

The professor turns to face the student, obviously interested. The room
suddenly becomes very quiet. The student begins to explain.

"You can have lots of heat, even more heat, super-heat, mega-heat, unlimited
heat, white heat, a little heat or no heat, but we don't have anything called
'cold'. We can hit up to 458 degrees below zero, which is no heat, but we
can't go any further after that. There is no such thing as cold; otherwise we
would be able to go colder than the lowest -458 degrees.

Every body or object is susceptible to study when it has or transmits energy,
and heat is what makes a body or matter have or transmit energy. Absolute
zero (-458 F) is the total absence of heat. You see, sir, cold is only a word
we use to describe the
absence of heat. We cannot measure cold. Heat we can measure in thermal units
because heat is energy. Cold is not the opposite of heat, sir, just the
absence of it."

Silence across the room. A pen drops somewhere in the classroom, sounding
like a hammer.

"What about darkness, professor. Is there such a thing as darkness?"

"Yes," the professor replies without hesitation. "What is night if it isn't
darkness?"

"You're wrong again, sir. Darkness is not something; it is the absence of
something. You can have low light, normal light, bright light, flashing
light, but if you have no light constantly you have nothing and it's called
darkness, isn't it? That's the meaning we use to define the word. In reality,
darkness isn't. If it were, you would be able to make darkness darker,
wouldn't you?"

The professor begins to smile at the student in front of him. This will be a
good semester. "So what point are you making, young man?"

"Yes, professor. My point is, your philosophical premise is flawed to start
with, and so your conclusion must also be flawed."
The professor's face cannot hide his surprise this time. "Flawed? Can
you explain how?"

"You are working on the premise of duality," the student explains. "You
argue that there is life and then there's death; a good God and a bad God.
You are viewing the concept of God as something finite, something we can
measure.

Sir, science can't even explain a thought. It uses electricity and magnetism,
but has never seen, much less fully understood either one. To view death as
the opposite of life is to be ignorant of the fact that death cannot exist as
a substantive thing. Death is not the opposite of life, just the absence of
it."

"Now tell me, professor. Do you teach your students that they evolved from a
monkey?"
"If you are referring to the natural evolutionary process, young man, yes, of
course I do"
"Have you ever observed evolution with your own eyes, sir?"
The professor begins to shake his head, still smiling, as he realizes where
the argument is going. A very good semester, indeed.

"Since no one has ever observed the process of evolution at work and cannot
even prove that this process is an on-going endeavor, are you not teaching
your opinion, sir? Are you now not a scientist, but a preacher?"

The class is in uproar. The student remains silent until the commotion has
subsided.
"To continue the point you were making earlier to the other student, let me
give you an example of what I mean."

The student looks around the room. "Is there anyone in the class who has ever
seen the professor's brain?" The class breaks out into laughter.
"Is there anyone here who has ever heard the professor's brain, felt
the professor's brain, touched or smelled the professor's brain? No one
appears to have done so. So, according to the established rules of empirical,
stable, demonstrable protocol, science says that you have no brain, with all
due respect, sir. So if science says you have no brain, how can we trust your
lectures, sir?"

Now the room is silent. The professor just stares at the student, his face
unreadable. Finally, after what seems an eternity, the old man answers. "I
guess?you'll have to take them on faith."

"Now, you accept that there is faith, and, in fact, faith exists with life,"
the student continues. "Now, sir, is there such a thing as evil?"

Now uncertain, the professor responds, "Of course, there is. We see it
everyday.
It is in the daily example of man's inhumanity to man. It is in the multitude
of crime and violence everywhere in the world. These manifestations are
nothing else but evil."

To this the student replied, "Evil does not exist sir, or at least it does
not exist unto itself. Evil is simply the absence of God. It is just like
darkness and cold, a word that man has created to describe the absence of
God.

God did not create evil. Evil is the result of what happens when man does not
have God's love present in his heart. It's like the cold that comes when
there is no heat or the darkness that comes when there is no light."

The professor sat down.

Evil is simply the absence of God.

I Found a Job! =D

Wheee! Thank God. I confirmed everything with my uncle just now. I'm gonna work in the Factory Outlet Store (FOS) office as a stocking and packaging boy. Not sure what I'm supposed to do but hey, I have a job =P. Gonna start next week. I'll be staying in my uncle's house for 2 months. Then after that I'm getting ready for my National Service. I'll be back in Klang every weekends. So looks like I can't serve in the Main Praise and Worship team. Sigh. But never mind, after National Service I will =P. Muahahah! Can't wait to work, and college as well. Thank God for His blessings.

The gathering with my family just now was alright. I'm feeling sick now, eyes hurt very badly. I ate moderately today, so proud of myself =P. Muahahah! Now I just need to exercise xD.

My cousins, some aunties and uncles, watched almost ALL of my videos just now xD. They watched the GY 2007 News and the Camp Meta stuff. Arrr! So embarrassed. But hey, I did it for God, hope they enjoyed it.

Glory to God for everything He has done in my life.

There's a STAR CF committee meeting tomorrow and I'm attending it. We're gonna have it at our usual place; the McDonalds beside Giant xD. Wooohoo! Bernie can't come though. He's taking his undang exam. I'm doing mine on the 3rd of January. So, I better study. My cousin, Chen Han, passed the exams; 48 our of 50 right! Wow. He said he finished it in 10 minutes. Arrr! Haha! Things are never easy for me, so need to study.

Lunch with Fong Hei canceled. Sheesh! Haha!
