First Day of 2008

Hey guys. How's your first day of the year 2008? Hope everything is good. Not for me though. I'm down with flu and cough. Haha! My eyes hurt too. Dam! Can't watch Enchanted now =(. This is my FIRST ever full movie download. Muahahah! Thank GOD. I need sleep. Very tired now but I wanna finish this pool game first =P. Haha.

I'm having a party later, a family gathering. Wheee.. Can't wait..... To eat xD.

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to everyone. God bless you guys in everything you people do; just do it for God though. I'm sure that 2008 is gonna be a blast for everyone. My church, GRACE Assembly, has a new theme for this year: Taking Dominion. Woohoo! I was thinking about doing that too! Haha! Before I start posting up my new year resolutions, I would just like to post up some highlights of my life in the year 2007. The year 2007 is a very blessed year for me. Firstly, 20/07/2007; muahahah! I turned 17 on that date.

I went scuba diving in Sipadan in the beginning of the year (during Chinese New Year). I finished my Advanced course and now I'm an Advanced Scuba Diver! Muahaha! Just need to go collect my license though xD.

Took those pictures with my camera PHONE. Post about dive trip HERE.

After the scuba diving trip, I went for Camp Meta! It's the second Camp Meta, but my first though xD. Thanks a lot to Brian Chow for getting my butt involve in this uber awesome event! We had our ups and downs during the planning period but by God's grace, the camp was AWESOME. This camp really taught me loads of stuff (personal xD) and seriously, I thank God for this camp for giving me the opportunity to bond with my fellow friends, especially Kenneth Gan. Awesome partner. Glory to God. There are so many pictures to post from Camp Meta, so I'm just gonna post the link to the Camp Meta posts on my previous blog. You can watch them Camp Meta videos on YouTube. The links are on the left of your screen on this page. Just scroll down and click and watch. Comment please =P.
Original post on Camp Meta HERE; HERE; HERe; HERE.

After every camps, there are usually a few activities organised by the camp orgranisers to follow up on the campers. So yeah, after Camp Meta: MEGA WORSHIP! Muahahah! La Salle hall was almost filled with people. Seriously, there was a large number of people. So many things to post, so little time. I'll just leave the link to the post about Camp Meta: HERE.

The first quarter of the year was fun. I met loads of new friends. I think the closest new friend I made after all this Meta stuff was Amelia from MGS.

She's uber smart and yeah, friendly. And in the period of Meta madness, I made someone hate me. Made that person angry. Well, all I can say now is sorry. Thanks for being a good friend, Mei Yen.

After the Meta madness, it's gotta be 2007's Interschool Rally! Thank God for the Meta madness period; made it easier for me to work with the other committees. Why? Because I think HALF of the ISCF committee this year were involved with all them Meta stuff. Haha! Before I go on with the rally, I would just like to thank God for giving me the opportunity to serve Him in my school as STAR CF's president. I'm not the best leader so, I had a wonderful committee to back me up, to support me. Thanks people for the support. God bless all of you. And to all STAR CF members, thanks for attending. God bless all of you. Will keep the CF in prayer. Alright, now back to ISCF rally; it was a hard period for me, the preparations and the rally night itself. My school's CF was in charge of the skit, I was needed to come up with promotion videos, and the introduction video as well, and also play in the Praise and Worship team. I'm not complaining about anything but seriously, it was so difficult for me to cope with the pressure and stress that time. Thank God for His strength. Thanks to Kenneth, Lorna and Bernie for helping me in lighten my burden. You guys know what you did for me =P. Haha! God bless you. I met loads of new friends too during the preparations. Thank God for them. The Praise and Worship team was awesome (not as awesome as the team of year 2006 though =P). It was fun playing with you people, especially with Cassie. She kicks ass xD.

You can watch the ISCF videos by clicking the links on the left side of your screen on this page. There's so much to talk about the ISCF Rally this year but I'm running out of time, SO..... Click HERE and go read the other posts about ISCF Rally 2007 on my previous blog. Thank God for being with me through all the stressful times.

After that, I think the next best thing is the Deepavalli party in Guna's house. Wheee! I had a fun time with my secondary school friends! Wheeee! Love you dumbassespeople!
Read THIS.

Few days later, all of us sat for SPM. Haha!

After that, I went out with Fong Hei to Sunway Pyramid =P, with my cousins though.

And after that, we had a class part. It was uber chunted! I don't have any pictures of that event but it was good. Real nice to see most of my classmates after awhile after the SPM examination.

Then it's gotta be GY Camp! Muahahhaha! I'm sure ALL the campers enjoyed this year's camp. I felt His touch. That touch, is acting as a reminder to me (personal stuff). Thank you Lord for touching me and comforting me during camp. Pictures are all in Zlwin's blog. Videos of GY Camp '07 are on YouTube. Click on the links on the left side of your screen on this page. And oh yeah, GY Camp 2007 Aftershock video is done =P. Not uploaded yet though xD.

I think that sums up ALMOST all of the highlights of my life in the year 2007. And now for my new year's resolution:
o Repent from the sins I've repeated on and on again.
o To further build my relationship with God. That means reading the Bible, devotion, and maybe praying time at least three times a day.
o To lose loads of weight and my tummy.
o To learn loads of new stuff.
o To work on my drum skills.
o To play and be committed in a band.
o To play in the main service in church (not sure about youth, lost favour I think).
o To continue editing videos (stop demotivating me, I'll yell at you!).
o To spend time with my special friend xD.
o To control my anger, my emotions.

I think that's all for now. Happy New Year people. I'm ready to dominate the year 2008, how about you?

INTI College

I visited INTI and Taylors College earlier yesterday. I found the program I wanna do. Not A Levels, not SAM, but American Degree transfer Program (AUP) in INTI. Wheee! I'm going for the May intake. So yeah, I still need to go for my National Service. BUT; I can get an early release form/letter. Wheee! Thank God! INTI College is soooo much cheaper than Taylors College. Compared yesterday. Dad's face was like, literally glowing when he saw the price of the programs in INTI College. Haha! He was like, WOW. Didn't realised that it'll be that reasonable. So, high chance, AUP in INTI. It's a 2+2 years program; 2 years in Malaysia, 2 years in America. I found out that University of Hawaii is offering Marine Biology so yeah, most probably I'll go there. And that university offers scholarship if I do well in Malaysia. Wheeee!!! Haha! Mum is complaining that why must I wait so long till I can start school.... Why I must go for NS... Cannot defer? I'm like, the law says they can call me back from 18 years old till 35 years old, in that period of time. I don't wanna be called back after I'm graduated, dammit! Haha!

And oh yeah. The day before yesterday, I started editing the GY Camp 2007 Aftershock video around 10PM at night. I finished the video around 5AM yesterday (yes, I stayed up that late). To me, I'm quite happy about the video. Thank God for His strength. I hope that all of you will like it when they screen it (not sure when). Glory to God. I received a call from Hwai Tah and Sister Kim before my trip to Hong Kong, telling me to get a video done so that they can show yesterday. That's why I stayed up so late to get the video done. But guess what? I woke up at 9AM yesterday and text messaged Sister Kim to ask whether they're gonna screen the video or not during main service and she says no. Dam! I was like, what the crap?! Shucks, that really burns me. The reason is that Hwai Tah didn't tell the administrators about screening the video. Argh! I don't blame anyone but, can't anyone contact me that they're not gonna screen the video? Sheesh!

I'm uploading my Hong Kong trip pictures on an online album. Faster.

Back!

Wheeeeee.... I'm back to Bolehland! Haha! Hong Kong was awesome! Seriously, Hong Kong makes Kuala Lumpur look like crap! HAHAHAH! Really enjoyed myself in HK with my family. Four of us had meals together and it was awesome (both the fellowship and the food). Thank GOD for that. The hotel room was awesome as well. My parents and I stayed in Le Meridien. Super chunted hotel.

Alright, I'm just gonna summarise my visit in HK in this post. I'm gonna post up some of the pictures and videos taken in HK when I have the time.

I left for KLIA on the 23rd of December (Sunday) around 2PM. Had lunch before we went to the airport. My ex-babysitter drove us to the airport. Thank God for them. Left for HK around 6PM I think. Reached the hotel quite late. Around 10PM. Dad couldn't get an earlier flight. Sigh. So one whole day gone just like that. The hotel looks really nice at night. The lobby had this lights which changes colours. Words can't describe how beautiful it looks like so I recorded it on video and also took some pictures of them lights. On the second day, my dad woke me up around 7AM so that three of us can catch the 9AM shuttle bus to the Central train station.

A bit about the transportation in HK: The train system is just so good. Very efficient; build for quality and quantity. 8 coaches for each train! The name of the system is MTR - Mass Transit Railway I think. Very clean. The people in Hong Kong is just so disciplined! The train system and layout looks dam complicated but it all fits together properly. Unlike the system here in Malaysia. Sheesh! The public cabs are like everywhere. It's sooooo easy to get from place to another. Just hop on the MTR or a cab. And the cabs are clean too.

Back about second day in HK. We took the train to Mong Kok(sp?). Reached there around 9:30-10AM I think. My mum was like craving for some dim sum. So we walked around and asked people where to find some good food. But guess what? All the shops weren't open! Dam lazy Hong Kong people! Hahahahha! After walking for about 30-40 minutes, we finally found this shop and went in to eat. I ordered this Beef Balls Noodles dish. Wow, them balls are HUGE! Tasty too. Awesome meal =). After eating, we walked around that area and bought some stuff. I bought a 2GB memory card for my handphone. Muahahha! CHEAP too =P. We went back to the hotel around 3PM and went out for dinner with my brother later at night. I think we had dinner in the Intercontinental hotel that night in a Chinese restaurant. It was a fine dining dinner. AHha! My first =P. The food was awesome. Served in small amount but there were like, 10 dishes! HAHAH! So yeah, was full =P.

Oh yeah, we upgraded our normal room to a suite. Muahahah! So on the third day, we didn't do much but laze in the suite for a very long time. Then I think at night we went for dinner. I kinda forgot where I went during the night. Haha! Forgive me! Will elaborate once I look at some pictures. HAHA!

On the fourth day, we went to Disneyland. It was a rip off but I enjoyed my time there with my parents. My dad actually went on the rides with me. Awesome :P. Haha!

I kinda forgot some events. Forgot what I did on what day and stuff like that. I will tell you guys more about my trip to HK after going through them pictures. Just wanna thank God for the opportunity to go to HK and to witness His awesome creation and blessings. Glory to God!

PS: Pictures and vLog coming soon!

*yawns*

Went to the new Jusco just now. Went to Jusco just to apply for a job in Yamaha. But guess what? After observing the people in the shop, I felt like scolding everybody for simply touching the musical instruments. I even saw a small kid banging a guitar and the shop keeper didn't say anything. Oh crap, I hope I don't get a call from them! Haha!

Anyways, I went for the driving seminar (???) just now in the morning. It wasn't as boring as how other people said it was. It was kinda cool actually. Creating awareness and stuff like that. But I think it was kinda waste of time as I already know the risks and the consequences if I break the law. I think only them dumbasses who are ignorant needs to sit for this seminar OVER and OVER again. This talk killed my whole day. Came back home around four something and then I napped and woke up at six.

Nothing special happened today.

Next vLog Episode: Grace Youth Camp 2007.

PS: Gonna get my MacBook soon. Muahahha!

Sorry for bad quality and bad English. I get nervous when I talk in front of a camera. I don't know why. Glory to God.

vLog

My first Video Log is on the way. It's still being processed by Youtube.com.

Before I post that up I would just like to wish Elder Vasu's family my condolences. Elder Vasu passed away few days ago. When I heard it from my dad I was like, "Hey, stop kidding". Yeap, I was SHOCKED! Seriously, I felt that it was TOO EARLY for him to pass away. But God has His own plans for all of us.

Forgive me Lord =(

GY Camp Aftershock Video - My Last?

After receiving painful comments on my videos from people I didn't even thought of getting feedback from, I just feel like "retiring" from anything related with video stuff. May it be GY News, cameraman and etc. I just feel like quitting. And is it wrong becoming a Camp Psycho? Arrrr.... Whatever.... GY Camp Aftershock might be my last video. Not sure if I even wanna edit it or not.... Sheesh...

PS: Thinking of making this blog and my Youtube channel private...

Back

Hey people, I'm back from camp. Feeling really very tired. I only had like about 8 hours of sleep in camp (cumulative of every night). We stayed in some place in Tanah Rata, Cameron Highland. I forgot the campsite name >.< Haha! The camp was alright but I didn't like the campsite. I just think that the whole campsite just made the whole camp a bit disorganised.

We had around 300 participants this year. Glory to GOD. There are so many things to share to you about the camp but I'll just pick them awesome-st experiences and share it with you people.

I think I blogged about getting a call to be in charge of the GY News crew and to play drums for a session quite late before the camp. I was promised a MacBook and the Sony video camera to do my work. I received news few days before camp that Sean's MacBook is under service and that made me rely on other people's laptop that I'm not familiar with (their notebooks I mean). That means that I'll need to go hunting for video editing softwares to install on other people's laptop and use it on the spot to edit the videos. And before leaving from church to Camerons I asked Sister Kim for the video camera but it seems that she's using it to record services and stuff. Thank God I brought my video camera along. There's one problem though, my video camera records footages and saves it under .MPEG format which cannot be edited by any of the softwares I have. So I decided to go hunting for some Sony video editing trial softwares which are compatible with the camera I have to ease video editing. But guess what? ALL Sony trial softwares after installing to your computer are needed to be registered through the INTERNET before using them. So, I wasn't able to use any of the Sony softwares to edit the footages. It was so frustrating for me. I needed to do the LONG method just to edit the videos. I needed to convert .MPEG into .AVI format before editing. The process of converting the formats made the laptop that I was using to crash... I didn't even edit a single footage on the first night. Sheesh! I was really frustrated. I tried using 2 other different laptops to edit the videos but in the end nothing worked. The screening of the news is usually after the night service so I decided to skip the workshops in the afternoon to edit the videos. But this time I decided to just use the Windows Movie Maker and same noob skill to edit the videos, and it WORKED! Glory to GOD! All I needed to do was just to ask God to give me comfort, to calm me down and wisdom to think. Thank God!

Last night (the last night of camp) was the best time of my life. Seriously, I had my encounter with the Holy Spirit and it's just so amazing. I felt His touch. I cried, I confessed, it made me realised that I can't live without HIM, His touch made me dance and best of all is, I felt comforted. Without this encounter, this year's camp would be just like another ordinary camp. Because of this encounter, I ENJOYED camp. And I'm gonna treasure that moment forever in my life!

There are so many things to share about but those two experiences above is the best moments in camp for me. They made me realise how much I need Him in everything I do. All glory to Him.

The videos are being uploaded right now.

Class Party

Just came back from my class party. Wow. It was AWESOME. Much more fun than Guna's Deepavalli party! Haha! Well, it's because of the swimming pool. Had a lot of fun just now. Will post about this tomorrow, with pictures and video, hopefully =P. Haha!

I received a call in the afternoon from Samantha Ong. She asked me to play drums for her Praise and Worship team for 2nd morning session. I'm not complaining but, isn't it a bit to late to find a drummer? I don't know. Not sure if I'm ready or not. Anyways, thank God for the chance to serve as a drummer.

Sunway Pyramid

Went out yesterday with my cousins and Fong Hei. Fong Hei and I took the train down to Subang Jaya train station and then we took the bus to Sunway Pyramid. Met my cousins there. We watched this dumb movie, some magic thingy Emporium crap. Haha! No storyline at all... Sigh... It sucked! The trip was alright. Nothing much to talk about...

I've been losing in pool... Sheesh!

Legs Hurt Badly.

My legs are hurting badly. I got up today at 7AM and went for jogging. I came back after that and after bathing, I played some Yahoo! Pool. I won a tournament with 3000 Ladder Buxx as TD Donation! Woohoo! Thank God.

My mum asked me to follow her and her students down to KL to go and have a look at the Pavilion shopping complex. We took the train and all. I helped a blind man today =). Helped him pass the crowd. Glory to God. Hope he was blessed by that. Pavilion is a darn big place. There are many stuff to do there but I find it a bad place to shop as a middle class citizen. Haha! The stuffs there are just too expensive. Jeans have a price range between RM110 to RM500. Crap! Haha! Then we went to BB Plaza where they are cheaper stuff and thank God for that. Bought two t-shirts and a long pants. Fatty me =(.

Then I went for the Praise and Worship practice at GRACE PJ. God's really great. It's my first time singing (don't laugh) and I think I did a pretty good job. I enjoyed the practice time. Joel was supposed to fetch Jaron and I to the train station after the practice but he didn't turned up for practice because of some problems. Guess what? My parents who were supposed to go back to Klang after sending me to GRACE PJ actually stayed till 9:30PM and came to fetch home just now. Thank God for the awesome timing =). Glory to Him.

I still can't find a laptop. I'm having PMS. Sheeeesh!

Going to Sunway Pyramid tomorrow with Fong Hei and my cousins.

Some pictures:

Deepavalli at my uncle's house. This is a ghee and sugar tosai.

My mum's very own planted flower. Beautiful.

I went through my Maths exercise book before my Maths SPM paper. HAHAH!

I love these.

My mum's home cooked pizza.

Mr. Prasad. The girl who took this picture is probably a worse handphone-camera-person then I am.

Pavilion's Christmas decorations. Awesome stuff. Some pictures include my mum and her students.

I'm not used to cam whoring even though I have a few pictures of me taken by myself. And I hate using my camera-phone to take pictures. My hand moves all the time.

Doughnuts which I didn't buy. Sheesh! Dumbass me!

BA057A013.... What???

Muahahhaha! I kisskick you goodbye, SPM! Just finished my Bible Knowledge paper just now. By God's grace, I did ALL the questions and I'm quite confident that I'll be able to score an A in that subject. Woohoo! Glory to GOD! Pity Janus. There were only three of us taking the paper. Nisha and I did our paper in the same class but unfortunately, Janus is from a different centre, he needed to sit alone. Haha!

I received a text message before my paper just now saying that Sean's (a guy from USJ) MacBook is under repairs. Dam! Now who am I gonna get a laptop from? Sheeesh. I hope it's REALLY spoiled because if someone is trying to cover up something, I'll get angry. Okay, me getting angry, not a scary thing. Haha. But yeah, I don't know whom to ask for help now. SHEEESH! I'm totally blank. Kenneth's not going for camp (he gots a new MacBook) and Hyon-Le ain't going either. Sigh. God help me. I just hope now I won't receive any news that I'm supposed to make an introduction video. If I do, I quit.

Pre-Camp was kinda awesome last Saturday. The Camp song sounded like a Japanese song. The bridge is so difficult to sing (I know I suck in singing but my view counts) but thank God the words are easy to remember (for the Chorus at least).

Gonna paint my nails black.
